My sister has Cystic Fibrosis. Because she’s so high risk the hospital on the island won’t touch her with a ten foot pole and shipped her up here yesterday. She caught a cold that turned into pneumonia so she’s in for an antibiotic cleanout.

Sorry to hear about sister man :( hope she’s ok.

Depending on how much time you have to kill, maybe check out the MFA or the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum, you’re a few blocks from both. Alternatively, there’s Pavement, a great coffee/sandwich shop near Northeastern.

It’s become routine for us. At least once a year she’ll catch something that she can’t shake and will spend a week here on an antibiotic regimen. Her variation of CF mostly affects her lungs though, so at least she’s not wasting away like some other CF kids.
